Counseling Services
Overview

Counseling Services, headed by Dr. Ann Gibson, offers individual and group counseling for issues and problems related to academic, career and personal-social areas of life as well as consultation to students, parents, and many campus personnel. Many students experience problems that interfere with their studies. While obstacles to our plans are unwelcome, they are also opportunities for growth. The questions and problems that students bring to counseling are as varied and individualized as the students themselves. After listening carefully to a student's concerns, the counselor or psychologist helps the student set goals to handle the problems as well as learn new life skills that can be used in the present and future.
