The Doctor of Education in Leadership program is designed to prepare you to: 1. Provide visionary, informed transformational leadership. 2. Promote empowerment through effective communication. 3. Lead an organization in an ethical manner. 4. Conduct relevant academic research. 5. Address complex leadership challenges. 6. Embrace diverse perspectives. 7. Apply organizational theory to organizations.
To meet the degree requirements, candidates must complete a minimum of
- 66 semester credits including
18 credits of required Leadership Courses 18 credits of required Education Courses 9 credits of required Research Courses 9 credits in either the K-12 or higher education track 12 Dissertation Credits
- Comprehensive Examination
- Dissertation Defense on a relevant problem
