Minneapolis – Saint Mary’s University’s mission is to awaken, nurture, and empower learners to ethical lives of service and leadership. On Sunday, March 26, the university’s Twin Cities Campus honored the faculty, staff, students, and alumnus who embody that mission through outstanding service and effort.

Lindsay McCabe, recipient of the Outstanding Alumnus Award, said he was honored and humbled be recognized. “As an alumnus of Saint Mary's, my experiences as a graduate of the management program and as a student/candidate for a doctorate in the EDD program, have helped me immensely personally and professionally,” said McCabe, a manager of Colfax Investments.
“My involvement in the SGPP alumni advisory group has just begun with the objective of engaging graduate alumns to be involved in furthering their life time educational goals, attracting, retaining, and networking with alumns and students and providing constructive feedback to the faculty and the administration,” McCabe added. “The contribution of an alumni group, with their varied experiences in academic, business and social services, can and will have significant impact on the future of Saint Mary's and the SGPP. Philanthropically, I have a moral responsibility to give to others thus, the La Sallian mission of Saint Mary's meets my personal goals in providing educational opportunities for others less fortunate than me to obtain a college/graduate education.”
