The Center for the Enhancement of Learning and Teaching (CELT) promotes, supports, and facilitates faculty development initiatives and programs on the Winona undergraduate college for its teaching faculty. At Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, the enhancement of teaching and learning is foundational to and flows directly out of the university’s commitment to its mission.
The Center for the Enhancement of Learning and Teaching assists faculty members in becoming better teachers so that, in turn, the university’s students might enhance and increase their learning. The Director of the Center is responsible for creating, making available, and overseeing opportunities for faculty members to develop and deepen their professional and collegial skills so as to become more effective and productive in promoting student learning. |
