Academic Skills Center Located in lower Griffin next to the Academic Advising office, the Academic Skills Center provides disability support services, tutoring in content area subjects, individual academic counseling and skills-based courses such as study, reading and problem solving. This extra help will always prove positive in the classroom. The ASC also offers peer tutoring for most academic courses.
Writing Center Another option to consider is using the Writing Center. Professional staff and peer tutors in the Writing Center are available to help you get started, plan and organize, develop an argument, cite and document sources, edit, and create application essays, resumes, and business letters.
Counseling Services If you are finding it difficult to pinpoint exactly where your barriers lie and you want someone to talk to, counseling services are available in the Jay Johnson Wellness Center (located in the lower level of the Toner Student Center).
If you would like help contacting any of these resources, please contact Academic Advising.
