Next Steps

After acceptance, complete the following required items.

1. All SMU students are required to register for and take FLOR 201, Italian Language and Culture during the Fall semester.

2. Attend all orientation sessions.

3. Complete SMU’s housing request form for the following semester and review health information. (Both topics will be discussed during an orientation session.)

4. Obtain a passport and student visa. Submit copy of first page of passport to Study Abroad Office.

5. Arrange travel plans. Once obtained, submit a copy of your flight itinerary to the Study Abroad Office.

6.  Purchase International Student Identity Card (ISIC) for $22 in the Study Abroad Office.
