Final persuasive speech in TA101.  Faculty rated 241 students’ speeches on 31 different criteria on a three-point scale.

Pre-post Personal Inventory.  Both at the beginning and at the end of TA101, students self-reported their perceived levels of confidence on each of 20 criteria for effective speaking.  “Percentage gains” of students who reported competent self-ratings (i.e., from the beginning to the end of the course) are highlighted in the data reports.
