Saint Benilde Hall is a two-story hall named in honor of a Christian Brother, Saint Benilde. This hall houses approximately 110 first year men in double rooms. It is conveniently located near the Gostomski Fieldhouse, Hockey Rink, and the Toner Student Center. Saint Benilde recently received a major renovation (summer 2006) with new windows, fire alarm system, sprinkler system, and furniture. The hall is substance free and for the safety of the residents is locked twenty-four hours. A fifty inch plasma flat screen in the lounge and a game room are special fun features of this hall.

The hall is is part of the SMU wireless network. Each room contains cable hook-up, computer hook-up and telephone.

Common areas included in the hall are: a main lounge, computer pod with two computers and one printer, laundry room with five washers, six dryers (fifty cents per load), study area, community kitchen with stove/oven, microwave, and refrigerator, game room and traditional community bathrooms and shower area on each wing of the hall.
