About the Program

The Master of Arts in Education—Wisconsin integrates your personal and professional experience into your graduate work to prepare you to apply for the Master Educator License.

How the program works for you:

  • course content—Directors, advisors, and faculty structure course content around the current Wisconsin standards for teachers.
  • portfolio—Students work with advisors to develop their comprehensive portfolio addressing the 10 Wisconsin State Teaching Standards.
  • 3 semesters a year mean rapid progress toward your degree.
  • dual approach—32 credits
    • rigorous scholarly study—16 credits
    • self-directed learning based on experience and personal goals—16 credits
