About the Program

The Master of Arts in Educational Administration program at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota is designed to meet the needs of active educators who wish to develop their skills in administration.

Courses focus on providing a clear understanding in four key areas identified through research as critical to effective educational leadership. Courses of study in the areas of organizational structure and planning, staff development, program development, and program assessment offer practical material pertinent to the job of educational leadership. The program emphasizes development of a management and leadership style for administrators that cultivates growth for both staff members and students.

*Master of Arts in Educational Administration students are required to take two of these courses. However, students may opt to take all three, using one to fill three of the elective credits required.
