When you click on a subscription database from off campus you will be asked to supply your user name and password. EBSCO's Academic Search Premier--designed specifically for academic institutions, contains scholarly, multi-disciplinary full text articles and citations from nearly 8,000 journals. Includes over a thousand journals in education. EBSCO also offers a free resource for educators, EBSCO Teacher Reference Center, that provides citation only coverage on topics such as Assessment, Best Practices, Continuing Education, Current Pedagogical Research, Curriculum Development, Elementary Education, Higher Education, Instructional Media, Language Arts, Literacy Standards, School Administration, Science & Mathematics, and Teacher Education.

ERIC--The ERIC online system provides a centralized web site for searching the ERIC bibliographic database of more than 1.1 million citations going back to 1966. More than 107,000 full-text non-journal documents (issued 1993-2004), previously available through fee-based services only, are available for free. If full text of documents is not online you may use the Fitzgerald library collection of ERIC documents on microfiche (range ED322286 to ED483046). Citations and abstracts are provided for journal articles; full text can be obtained through interlibrary loan if the journals are not in our collection. Use the ERIC Thesaurus to find the most effective keywords to use in your search.
From InfoTrac Collections --choose the Professional Collection for access to over 300 full text journals for educators. InfoTrac citation examples --click on "Help" and then to "Help--Index" and scroll to "How to Cite an Article from InfoTrac." Includes both MLA and APA
Play Index--search for musicals by title, author, genre, age group, etc. Provides abstract, locations in books, cast requirements, and more.
ProQuest Databases--search ProQuest databases singly or in combination (education, psychology, religion, newspapers etc.) Select from the list and hit the "Continue" button to access.
ProQuest Citation examples--click on "Search Tips" and then on "Site Map" and then scroll to "Marked List" and finally to "Print your Bibliography." Includes APA and MLA.
Project MUSE--full-text, peer-reviewed, scholarly articles in the arts and humanities, as well as social sciences. Indexes several important journals in education--see included list within the database.
RILM--Comprehensive, on-going guide to publications (articles, books, dissertations, reviews, and more) on music from all over the world. Contains some 400,000 entries.

Directory of Open Access Journals--This service covers full text, quality-controlled scientific and scholarly journals. It strives to cover all subjects and languages. There are now 24 scholarly journals in the field of music.
