Christine Martin is an Adjunct Instructor and Choreographer and the Managing Director for the Minnesota Conservatory for the Arts and the Production Coordinator for The Dance Repertory Company at Saint Mary's University of Minnesota.
She teaches tap and jazz at SMU and has taught at Winona State University. Martin's performing career includes work with the Minneapolis-based tap company, Keane Sense of Rhythm at The Minneapolis and Thunder Bay Canada Fringe Festivals, The Minneapolis and Chicago Human Rhythm Projects, and Choreographers Evening at the Walker Center. She has choreographed a variety of original works for the Conservatory's Dance Repertory Company and has choreographed for theatrical prodctions including The Wizard of Oz as well as SMU shows, Candlelight by the Sea, Baby, Gypsy, and Cabaret. Christine has studied under Lane Alexander, Sam Weber, Lynn Dally, Diane Walker, Gus Giordano, Savion Glover, Billy Siegenfeld, Idella Reed, among others. Martin is a graduate of SMU with a BA in Public Relations.
