Brooke Lenz is an Assistant Professor of English at Saint Mary's University of Minnesota.
She completed her Ph.D. in English at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2005, with specialties in Contemporary British Literature and Women's Studies. Her book John Fowles: Visionary and Voyeur (forthcoming, Rodopi) employs feminist standpoint theory in its investigation of cinematic conventions and point of view in the works of John Fowles. Her next scholarly project will consider the ways in which contemporary metafictional novels employ and extend standpoint methodology. In addition to her work in English, Dr. Lenz serves on the Faculty Advisory Board for the Saint Theresa Leadership & Service Institute for Women.
Brooke and her husband, Jared, have two children, Isaac and Jack.
