Peter Gittins is an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Saint Mary's University of Minnesota.
Dr Gittins currently teaches the Organic Chemistry part of the curriculum, as well as being engaged in student research activities. He has taught a number of other courses at Saint Mary's including Physical Chemistry lecture and lab, the general education chemistry course for non-science majors, World of Materials in addition to being an instructor for the General Chemistry laboratory course. His research interests involves the synthesis and application of dendritic macromolecules, particularly in the field of biomimetics. Other scholarly interests include the use of computer technology in chemistry education.
