When you click on a subscription database from off campus you will be asked to supply your user name and password. EBSCO's Academic Search Premier--designed specifically for academic institutions, contains scholarly, peer-reviewed, multi-disciplinary full text articles and citations from nearly 8,000 journals. There are 243 journals devoted to the arts in this collection.
All EBSCO databases--along with the multi-disciplinary Academic Search Premier, EBSCO has specialized databases for business and religion topics, as well as a general, non-academic database.
EBSCO Citation examples--click "Help" and then on "Citation Styles." Includes APA and MLA.
ProQuest Databases--access to scholary journals, trade publications, magazines, and newspapers. Search ProQuest databases singly or in combination (education, psychology, religion, newspapers etc.) Select from the list and hit the "Continue" button to begin your search. Includes full text access to the New York Times and other major newspapers.
ProQuest Citation examples--click on "Search Tips" and then on "Site Map" and then scroll to "Marked List" and finally to "Print your Bibliography." Includes APA and MLA.
Project MUSE--full-text, peer-reviewed, scholarly articles in the arts and humanities, as well as social sciences.
