Scholarly and Creative Interests My on-going research is the area of visual communication design. This includes many different areas and media. I have most recently been studying designing on the WEB and have taught workshops here and at the Universidad LaSalle in Mexico City. I have also been interested in the history of communications from earliest art forms and the invention of writing to the more recent history of photography up to and including the digital revolution.
