Program Outcomes

Graduates of the Master of Arts in Arts and Cultural Management should expect to be able to:

  1. Research and articulate the key issues, environmental situations, and past and future trends facing the arts and culture industry.
     
  2. Apply ethical, innovative, and effectual practices to lead and advance the culture industry.
     
  3. Communicate information respectfully and effectively to a variety of groups in a range of situations.
     
  4. Develop intercultural competence in interpersonal and leadership situations.
     
  5. Integrate a global cultural perspective into decision-making.
     
  6. Create and implement resource development and financial management strategies.
     
  7. Manage and assess organizational operations and planning.
     
  8. Outline and analyze community relations, outreach, and marketing activities.
     
  9. Evaluate cultural policy and legal environments for socially responsible cultural management.
     
  10. Continue life-long learning to facilitate personal growth and organizational change.
