Current and New Students

The following information is intended for prospective, new and current students enrolled in the Master of Arts in Counseling and Psychological Services degree program at the Saint Mary's University Twin Cities Campus.

Registration

Registration for Fall 2008 semester begins July 9, 2008. Please watch these pages for additional information.

Meanwhile, Counseling and Psychological Services Masters Program information is available from your Program Director Dr. Christina Huck & Associate Director and Practicum Coordinator Dr. Mary Louise Wise.

Program Planning

Students are encouraged to contact Dr. Christina Huck (612-728-5113) or Dr. Mary Louise Wise (612-728-5104) for program advising. They are glad to work with students throughout the semesters.

Students with a change of address, phone number, or email address should contact the Program Coordinator, Lisa McBain (612-728-5106), to ensure all information is relayed in an efficient manner.

LPC/LPCC Licensure and Legislation Information

Please contact Dr. Christina Huck at 612-728-5113 with questions regarding licensure and legislation.

Holidays

Classes will not be held the evening of May 23, 2008 or during May 24-26, 2008 in observance of Memorial Day. The University will be closed July 4, 2008 for Independence Day.

Registration Tips and Information from Lisa

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY to avoid day-of-registration delays and confusion.

Registration for Fall semester begins July 9. Students are expected to register through the WebTools system using the user ID and password received when accepted to the university. If you do not have this information, please request it from the IT Help Desk, at tchelpdesk@smumn.edu or 1.800.372.8176, extension 7800, BEFORE July 9, as the Help Desk tends to be inundated with questions on the first day of registration for any semester.

I recommend logging in to WebTools, making sure that you are able to do so, sometime between now and registration time. If you encounter technical problems, contact the Help Desk with the contact information above. Because of the number of phone calls and messages that program staff receive when registration begins, it is best to make certain you are able to access WebTools BEFORE the first day of registration.
