Meet the Director and Faculty

Program Director and Dean of the Graduate School of Business and Technology

Dushan Knezevich, J.D.
Dushan Knezevich is an academic and legal professional with global perspective and years of experience in administration and teaching international business and management. He received his B.A. degree from the University of Minnesota and his J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law. He is a licensed attorney in Minnesota. Professor Knezevich was a two time Fulbright scholar at the University of Belgrade in Yugoslavia where he served with the faculty of law and political science, and later with the Academy of Arts and Sciences where he lectured and researched emigration to America.

Knezevich joined Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota over a decade ago as an instructor, assumed the role of program director and brought extensive international ties in trade to the International Business and Management programs, having worked as a consultant for the State of Minnesota and as administrator for the Minnesota Committee on International Trade and Economic Development. He teaches GM640: Legal Issues for Managers, MIB535: International Business Law, and MIB570: International Field Study.

Listed below are some faculty members:

Richard Bohr, Ph.D.
Richard Bohr earned his Ph.D. in Modern Chinese History from the University of California: Davis; his M.A. in East Asian Studies and M.Div. degrees from Harvard University; and his B.A. degree summa cum laude in East Asian History from the University of California: Davis. He is a professor of history and director of Asian Studies at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University in Minnesota. He appears regularly on Minnesota Public Radio and has provided commentary on China for PBS television, including The News Hour with Jim Lehrer and Religion and Ethics News Weekly. Since 1980, he has organized and led study tours of China for students, faculty, and business people.

Dr. Bohr has been an adjunct program professor for Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota since 1993. He teaches MIB510: International Business Environments, and MIB545: International Political Economy.

Steven Lukas, Ed.D.
Steven Lukas has thirty five years of experience in the business, educational, and corporate training fields. He earned his Ed.D. from the University of Saint Thomas, his Master of Arts in Finance and Accounting from University of Nebraska: Lincoln, and his B.S. in Accounting with distinction from University of Nebraska: Lincoln.

Dr. Lukas has taught at the University of Minnesota, University of Nebraska, University of Saint Thomas, and Augsburg College in addition to serving on advisory committees for the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.

Steven has taught at Saint Mary’s University since 2000. His courses include MIB571: Special Topics in International Business, MIB575: International Business Strategy Capstone, and GM600: Management Principles.

Richard May
Richard May has 40 years of financial and administrative executive experience, and has been Chief Financial Officer in three different companies since 1985. He earned his B.A. in Business Administration from Saint Mary’s College in Winona, and has taught at Saint Mary’s University in Minneapolis since 1989 in the areas of finance and accounting for the Bachelor Completion and Master’s degree programs.
