Saint Mary’s University commencement honors 240 School of Graduate & Professional Programs graduates
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — Saint Mary's University of Minnesota, Twin Cities campus, honored 240 graduates January 21 during ceremonies at the Zuhrah Shrine Center Auditorium, 2540 Park Ave., Minneapolis. The honorees represent post-graduate, graduate and undergraduate academic programs at the Twin Cities campus. Jeffrey R. Highland, Ph.D., university president, presided over the two ceremonies. The 1 p.m. ceremony featured the conferral of degrees on students completing their master of arts in education (the largest program offered through the Twin Cities campus), the master of arts in educational administration, the master of arts in human development, the master of arts in instruction and two advanced graduate programs: educational administration - superintendent and K-12 principal, and doctor of education in leadership. At the 3 p.m. ceremony, graduates receiving diplomas represented the undergraduate certificate in surgical technology and English language proficiency, 10 bachelor of science programs as well as eleven master degree programs. Saint Mary’s Twin Cities campus, located at 2500 Park Avenue in Minneapolis, holds commencement ceremonies three times per year. The School of Graduate & Professional Programs primarily serves adult learners from the metropolitan area, greater Minnesota and Wisconsin, offering a variety of degree and certificate programs in business, technology, education, and health and human services. |
