Christopher Erbes is a licensed Clinical Psychologist who conducts trauma-related research and practice at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center. He holds an appointment as Assistant Professor with the University of Minnesota Department of Psychiatry and is an instructor at St. Mary's University of Minnesota.
Dr. Erbes's primary interests include long-term adjustments to psychological trauma; environmental and personal risk and resilience factors for trauma outcomes; programmatic assessment of treatment outcome; and research design and analysis. Dr. Erbes is an investigator on several grant funded projects examining trauma outcome and treatment. Clinically, his theoretical orientation is broadly constructivist, with interests in individual and family therapies.
Dr. Erbes received his MA and PhD in clinical psychology from Texas Tech University in 2000, and completed his undergraduate work at the University of New Mexico. |
