Adjunct Associate Professor
Nickey Larson has over 30 years of clinical, consulting, and teaching experience. She has been an adjunct faculty member of Saint Marys University since graduating in 1984 from the Counseling and Psychological Services Program. She earned her Psy D from the University of St. Thomas, completing her predoctoral internship in Hawaii providing in-home and in-school therapy to children and families. She has been the recipient of the Outstanding Faculty and the Outstanding Advisor award from Saint Marys University.
Besides teaching, Dr. Larson maintains a private practice in Edina and is a consultant at Guest House Treatment Center for Catholic clergy, seminarians, and deacons in Rochester, Minnesota. She has provided trainings in the United States and abroad and has presented at state and national conferences. She teaches courses in family therapy, family theory, chemical dependency, families with addictions, ethics, and practicum supervision.
