Valerie Marsh is well-known for her work in the Olmsted County for continuing to direct services for victim's of domestic violence at YRC Psychological Services, a non-profit organization that is affiliated with the Rochester Area Family Y. She has developed curriuculum and taught classes for on such topics as anger management, eating disorders, behavior skills training for parents of children with ADHD and drug and alcohol awareness for teens. She is a licensed therapist who sees many children, teens, adult clients at her Rochester office, and is also on staff in a group practice at NuView Psychological Clinic in Stillwater, MN. She is also Clinical Director at the YRC Psychological Services.

She obtained her undergraduate degree in psychology as well as her M.S. degree in Counseling from Winona State. Her post-graduate certificate in Marriage & Family Therapy is from Saint Mary's University in Minneapolis, and she is a clinical member of AAMFT.
