Campus Ministry

TONER STUDENT CENTER 5 – Ext. 1643

Rooted in the rich heritage of the Lasallian tradition, Campus Ministry strives to build community, promote service to others, and empower future Christian leaders. Through worship and prayer, a supportive environment, and faith centered activities and programs, Campus Ministry ministers to all members of the Saint Mary’s University community.

Activities and Programs:
Retreats and Reflections: Offers monthly retreats and prayer services in addition to the following regularly scheduled activities:

Education: Offers monthly educational opportunities outside the classroom.

Social Justice: Offers monthly programs and activities to promote peace and justice.

Other Opportunities
Lasallian Collegians:  Lasallian Collegians provides students a chance to belong to a small community focusing on the Lasallian values of faith, community and service. Programs include service to area communities, spiritual reflection on Lasallian writings and other community building activities.

Habitat for Humanity:  Habitat for Humanity, an official collegiate chapter, offers regularly scheduled builds at sites throughout the Winona area. The chapter also assists at the local Habitat Restore and conducts several fundraisers for Habitat for Humanity International.

T.E.C. (Together Encountering Christ):  T.E.C. is a 3-day retreat that is offered once each semester. The student lead retreats offer an opportunity for participants to grow in their faith.

S.O.U.L. (Serving Others United in Christ):  S.O.U.L. offers mission trips during October and February breaks as well as in May. S.O.U.L. trips offer participants a chance to serve a community in need while growing their understanding of the world around them and maturing in their faith.

Discernment:  Campus Ministry offers programs to aide students who are discerning their future vocation to the church. In addition a Discernment Group is offered to seniors to assist in post graduation decisions. Special focus is given to long term volunteer opportunities.
