Kevin Black, son of Jeff and Mary Pat Black of Mahtomedi, Minn., is an accounting major and economics minor. During his time at SMU, he has been a member of the SMU baseball team (serving as team captain), the Cardinal Athletic Council (serving as treasurer) and Delta Epsilon Sigma. Kevin has also volunteered with the Winona Food Shelf, played intramurals and coordinated the Toys for Teens Drive. This fall he will begin a new job as an auditor for Deloitte Touche, an accounting firm based out of Minneapolis. Until then, Kevin will be taking classes and studying for the Certified Public Accountants exam and helping coach the Mahtomedi American Legion baseball team. |

Anastacia Sontag is the daughter of Mike and Yvonne Sontag and hails from Minneota, Minn. While working toward her marketing major and chemistry minor, Ana has been involved with the Taylor Richmond Benefit Dance Committee and Student Senate Executive Board. She also serves as president of the Student Activities Committee and has helped new students feel welcome as a New Student Orientation Leader. Ana participated in HV TEC #59 and volunteered in Biloxi, Miss. She enjoys reading Harry Potter, playing cribbage, and inventing new abbrevs. After graduation, Ana is hoping to work as an after-school tutor and mentor with a long-term volunteer program. Eventually she would love to travel the world. |

Jeff David, son of Don and Kathy David of Potosi, Wis., is pursuing a music major, with an emphasis in education. Not surprisingly, much of his college career has centered around music including: Gaslight, Blue Angel, Concert Choir, Chamber Singers (including tours to France, St. Louis, Germany, Madison and the Twin Cities), Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, the Oldie Moldie All-Stars, and the Music Educators National Conference. Jeff serves as president of the SMU chapter of MENC. He's been involved with the SMU productions of "Company" and "Cabaret" and has worked with Phonathon, served as a resident assistant, played Santa for the Provost's Breakfast, was a KSMR radio DJ, and has made the dean's list. An active volunteer, Jeff has worked with the Red Wing Juvenile Correctional Facility, Winona Manor, Saint Anne Hospice and flood relief. For the past five summers, Jeff has worked at camps that serve adults and children with disabilities. He plans to attend graduate school to obtain his licensure to teach music education. Eventually, he hopes to continue to work with people with disabilities in a school or camp setting. |

Lindsay Dickson, daughter of Jim and Janice Dickson of Brooklyn Park, Minn., is a social science major and a public relations minor. Lindsay is currently the editor of "The Cardinal" newspaper, an intern for the Alumni Relations Office, and a class officer for Student Senate. She has also been involved with the Student Activities Committee Executive Board, Lasallian Honors Program, Phonathon, New Student Orientation, and with volunteering around Winona. Her other interest include cross-country skiing, "The Wizard of Oz," and trying new things. During her semester in London, her favorite memories include attending "Wicked" and venturing around the city. After graduation, Lindsay plans to pursue a career in public relations and event planning. |

Alex Downes-Borowski, son of Michael Borowski and Marylou Downes, hails from Woodbury, Minn. Alex's major focus of study is music industry with an emphasis on technology. Extra-curricular highlights include Student Senate, the Student Activities Committee, and KSMR-FM. Additionally, Alex is proud to be a brother of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia. Alex's post-graduation plans include traveling before beginning some long-term volunteering in the fall. |

John Freeman, son of Mike and Joann Freeman, of Aurora, Ill., is an environmental biology major and a business minor. Over the past four years, John has been a member of the Student Activities Committee, served as percussionist in the concert band, and was a participant and leader of the TEC retreats. He's also been a member of Student Senate and served as president this past year. John is a proud member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia men’s music fraternity, the Saint Mary’s Phonathon team, and Beta Beta Beta Honors Society. Although John is unsure of his plans post-graduation, he is very interested in the fields of environmental law and policy and would like to pursue a career path in one of these areas. |

Laura Holupchinski, daughter of Greg and Cindy Holupchinski of Saint Paul, Minn., is majoring in social science education. While at SMU, she has been involved with SOUL Council, the Peace and Justice Club, the Saint Teresa Leadership and Service Institute for Women, and Women of Faith. She also spent the fall 2006 semester in Quito, Ecuador, through HECUA. |

Amy Kalina, daughter of Stephen and Kathleen Kalina of Webster, Minn., is majoring in public relations and double minoring in Spanish and psychology. She served as freshmen volunteer representative and junior class officer and has been involved with Future Alumni Committee, Public Relations/Business Club, "The Cardinal" student newspaper, Delta Sigma Epsilon, Student Activities Committee, College Republicans, Senior Class Committee and Senior Class Gift Committee. She has also been an academic skills tutor, a Phonathon caller and supervisor, Faith Formation Teacher, Big Brothers/Big Sisters volunteer and Catholic Worker Volunteer. Next year she hopes to participate in the Lasallian Volunteer program and serve at an inner-city Lasallian high school or middle school. |

Richard McCoy is the son of Lou and Peg McCoy of West Saint Paul, Minn. Rick is majoring in human resources and double minoring in music and psychology and, after graduation, he hopes to work in human resources for a Twin Cities company. At SMU, he has served as historian, secretary and president of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia; vice president of financial affairs for Student Senate; treasurer for the Student Activities Committee; an Academic Skills Center tutor; a section leader for Chamber Singers; and an orientation leader. He has been involved with the Saint Mary’s productions of "Cabaret" and "Of Mice and Men," and served in the pit band for "Company" and "Candlelight Outta Sight!" Rick's other activities have revolved around Blue Angel, Gaslight, Battle of the Bands, Day at the Capitol, concert band, chamber orchestra, the Senior Gift Committee, Psi Chi Psychology Honor Society, Delta Mu Delta Business Honor Society, and the flood relief benefit show. He has worked in the Office of the President and with intramurals, Campus Ministry and Phonathon. |

Kasey Schultz is the daughter of Tom and Sue Schultz of Cary, Ill. She is a psychology major with minors in Spanish and mathematics. Kasey recently survived the fourth Twinkie Relay of her career, completing her final season as member of the Saint Mary’s swimming and diving team. She served as team captain this past season. She is currently president of Cardinal Athletic Council, secretary of Psi Chi, and an intern at the Women’s Resource Center. Over the past four years, she has also been involved in the scuba diving club, the water polo club, intramurals and the Senior Class Gift Committee. She has volunteered at Saint Anne's Extended Healthcare, and with flood relief. Kasey plans to spend her summer studying in Spain before entering graduate school; she hopes to pursue a doctorate in counseling psychology. |
