The Bachelor of Science in Marketing program is designed to prepare individuals for careers in marketing. The program addresses key processes in planning and executing marketing activities aimed at creating exchanges that satisfy both consumer and organizational objectives. Further, it emphasizes the importance of the value exchange and of a customer-centered strategy.
Program Outcomes
Graduates of the Bachelor of Science program in Marketing are expected to be able to:

- Understand the marketing function in the context of organizational management and strategic planning.
- Apply market research to marketing decisions.
- Integrate knowledge of consumer buying behavior into market planning.

Degree Requirements
A minimum of 122 semester credits is required for graduation with the bachelor of science degree from Saint Mary’s University. All students must meet the 10 general education competencies. A minimum of 36 credits is required to complete the B.S. in Marketing program.
