Admission Requirements
The Graduate Certificate Programs are for mainstream classroom teachers who have earned a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and who are interested in learning more about how differentiated instruction may be applied in their classrooms. The programs will not lead to licensure.
- Applicants must have completed an undergraduate degree from a regionally accredited institution and must have maintained an overall GPA of 2.75 on a 4.00 scale. If GPA is below 2.75 or GPA is not available, provisional status may be granted.
- A teaching license is not required.
Application Process
Applications are accepted at any time, and once admitted, students may begin during any one of the three semesters, subject to availability. Applicants must submit:
- Application for Admission Form to Saint Mary’s University with the nonrefundable fee of $25; and
- Official transcript from the regionally accredited institution posting the applicant’s highest degree.
