T.E.C. retreats are student-led weekend retreats that are offered once each semester. Based on the Paschal Mystery, the retreat aims to help its participants draw closer to God and to deepen their relationships with God. Applications to work on the TEC team or to be one of the retreat members are available in the Office of Campus Ministry in the early part of each semester. |
TEC stands for Together Encountering Christ, and is a 3 day, 2 night retreat experience centered around the Paschal Mystery of Jesus - his dying and rising to new life. TEC is a nationally-known retreat and students from both Saint Mary's University Winona State plan, coordinate, and put on a TEC retreat once a semester.
Growing in a relationship with Christ and one another are the central goals of the TEC retreat. Through traditional retreat experiences, such as talks, games, meals, and faith-based activities, together with the celebration of the sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist, students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to grow together in their faith. |
