Thursday, August 24

7:30 am Mass, Saint Thomas More Chapel (optional)
 
8 am-Noon Move-in
Residence hall key pick-up and move-in for new students. First-year students go directly to their halls (Saint Edward’s, Skemp, Saint Benilde, Saint Joseph’s) until noon; all others go to Residence Life in Vlazny Hall to pick up keys. The Residence Life Office will be open 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
 
8 am-3 pm New Student Orientation and Registration. Required for students who did not attend a summer NSOR session. Register at Toner Center by 8:30 and get the full NSOR schedule 
 
11 am-1 pm Lunch, Toner Center Dining Room
 
3 pm Family Reception and Welcome Week Check-in, Plaza
Enjoy snacks and beverages. Students and families can meet professors and staff. Get last-minute questions answered by campus offices at our Community and Resource Fair.
 
4:30 pm President’s Welcome to Students and Families, Performance Center
Hear from Brother William Mann, president. Afterwards, parents say goodbye to their students. We will see them on campus again for Family Weekend, Sept. 29-Oct. 1!
 
6-7 pm Dinner, with residence hall floor or other transfer students, Toner Center Dining Room
 
7-9 pm Ice Cream Social, Plaza

Friday, August 25

8-9 am Breakfast, with residence hall floor or other transfer students, Toner Center Dining Room.
 
9:30-11 am Connect to Class (attendance required), various Science and Learning Center classrooms. See registration handout for room numbers.

LCT 140 first class meeting: Meet your Lasallian Core Traditions professor and classmates.

LCT transfer students info session: Saint Mary's Hall 134. 
Transfer students can meet Lasallian Core Traditions professors to learn more about the program.

LH 105 first class meeting: Saint Mary’s Hall 332. Meet your Lasallian Honors professor and classmates, followed by lunch with the group.

11:30 am-12:30 pm Lunch, with residence hall floor or other transfer students, Toner Center Dining Room
 
12:10 pm Daily Mass, Saint Thomas More Chapel (optional)
 
12:45-1:45 pm Engage: How We Got to Now discussion (attendance required), various Science and Learning Center classrooms. See registration handout for room number.

Get your questions answered and take a tour of the library.

Saturday, August 26

9:30-11 am Empower Your Plan: Time and Money Management (attendance required), various Science and Learning Center classrooms. See registration handout for room numbers.
Develop an action plan for managing money without feeling poor, and managing time without giving up sleep. Hint: The secret is knowing what you really want.
 
11:30 am-12:30 pm Lunch, with residence hall floor or other transfer students, Toner Center Dining Room
