the common good through social action and vocational discernment.
New for 2009-2010 school year, the Weekend Immersion Program is a chance for students to step off of the Saint Mary's Winona campus and into new environments for service and learning. During weekend immersion trips, students will travel to sites that need immediate volunteering, like natural disaster areas, or sites that continually work toward social justice, like the Dorothy Day Centers in the Twin Cities.
These trips will take place over weekends during the academic year and will be led by teams of students. Costs will be minimal and the coutcome will be considerable. As Lasallians, let us continue the work of Saint John Baptist de La Salle and be ethical leaders.
Look out for Weekend Immersion Program opportunities this fall!
