This annual fall event is sponsored by the offices of Career Services at Saint Mary's University, Winona State University and Minnesota State College - Southeast Technical. Career Fair is open to all students, freshman through seniors, who are exploring career options or looking for internship and job opportunities. As a participant of Career Fair, you may wish to speak with employers about their organization in general, about coursework and extracurricular activities that are helpful or necessary for entry into certain fields, or about specific opportunities within their organization, including internships, summer jobs, and permanent positions. No pre-registration is required for students. This annual fall event is open only to students and alumni from the 30 Minnesota four-year colleges and universities. The Government & Nonprofit Career Fair allows candidates to pursue professional opportunities and internships in all levels of government and nonprofit agencies.

This fair, which is held every winter, is intended exclusively for current undergraduate students from the 17 Minnesota Private Colleges and employers interested in this group of candidates. (Alumni are encouraged to contact the Career Services Office for information about career services.)

Pre-registration with Career Services and Internships is required. This is a two-day event and students should plan to attend both days to have the most opportunities to connect with and interview with potential employers. The first day is a great opportunity to meet representatives from over 125 organizations and to discuss possible professional employment and/or internships. Interviews are scheduled for both days.

Last year's participating employers were from many areas of business, industry, human services, nonprofit organizations and government agencies. Register early for this event to give yourself time to prepare.

In order to be eligible to participate in this annual spring event, you must be a current student or graduate of a Minnesota college or university and be certified to teach on or before December of the current academic year. Pre-registration with Career Services and Internships is required. This is a one-day event and students should plan to attend the entire day to visit with school district representatives, interview and attend group information sessions.
