Graduation information for the undergraduate College

Undergraduate College Commencement
May 9, 2015

Baccalaureate Mass – 8:00 a.m. (Saint Thomas More Chapel)
Commencement Ceremony – 11:00 a.m. (Gymnasium)
Reception – following ceremony

Any student who will complete all degree requirements by May 9, 2015, is eligible to participate in the commencement ceremony. Students who will not satisfy all graduation requirements by May 9, must request permission to commence by filling out the back portion of the application for Graduation & Commencement form. Questions on eligibility for participation in the commencement ceremony should be directed to the Office of the Registrar. Participation in commencement is not a certification of graduation.

Academic Costume
Academic costume is traditional. Dark clothing and dark shoes are recommended. Students should pick up their academic regalia at the Senior Salute on March 10. Call Barb Schmidtknecht at (507) 457-6678, if you have further questions.

Tickets are not required for the commencement ceremony. The ceremony lasts approximately 2 hours.

All graduates and their guests are invited to a light reception following the ceremony. The reception will be held outside on the plaza. In case of inclement weather, it will be held in Gostomski Fieldhouse.

Parking may be limited on campus on commencement day. Please check back frequently for updated information.

Disability Accommodations
Handicapped parking is available on campus. Anyone needing special accommodations for seating in the gymnasium should call (507) 457-6678 to make arrangements prior to the ceremony. In order to honor all special needs section seating requests, only one additional guest may sit with the individual requesting special needs seating. A sign language interpreter will be at the ceremony.
