The following offices handle tasks that relate to the university as a whole:
Brother William Mann, FSC, became the 13th president of Saint Mary's University of Minnesota on June 1, 2008.
Brother William has spent almost 30 years traveling around the country and the world as a leader in the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools, and as a guiding force in the evolution of the global Lasallian educational network.
The Alumni Relations office seeks to advance the mission of Saint Mary's University of Minnesota by establishing ongoing and mutually beneficial relationships between the university and its alumni. The Alumni Association hosts many events throughout the year and across the country.
The Business Office handles the financial affairs of the university. Services provided include accounting services, accounts receivable, accounts payable, student accounts, budgeting, staff & student payroll, staff benefits, Perkins Loan administration and risk management.
Business office forms for internal users are now accessed via BlackBoard.
The Vice President for Financial Affairs oversees the functions of financial accounting and analysis, payroll and benefits, support personnel, buildings and grounds, tuition and collections, risk management, bookstore and other vendor services, college and conference centers, technology, media and the computer center.

The General Counsel Office provides legal counsel, manages legal risk, oversees compliance, and offers preventative advice to a wide range of university constituencies including the Board of Trustees, the President, the Vice Presidents, Deans and Program Directors, supervisors, and student organizations.
The Office of Human Resources is dedicated to strengthening and promoting a culture which invites and develops the professional excellence and competence, innovative spirit, and personal health and well-being of everyone working at Saint Mary's University of Minnesota.
The Institutional Research Office is responsible for responding to requests for institutional data from external agencies and internal constituencies. The staff provides the university community accurate and timely information to facilitate decision-making and to support continuous quality improvement.
The Marketing & Communication office is responsible for university-wide marketing and communication initiatives. At the Winona campus, the staff plans and executes undergraduate College marketing, community relations, media relations, special events, publication design, website content, sports information, and internal communications.

The Mission Office has as its purpose the preservation, enhancement, and deepening of the understanding of the university's mission for all its stakeholders and constituencies.
University Advancement supports the mission of Saint Mary's University by connecting, engaging and informing our constituents. We strive to partner with our constituents to identify, develop and secure philanthropic support to advance Saint Mary's University.
The University Relations office - SGPP is responsible for marketing, community relations, media relations, design, internal communications and website content for the Schools of Graduate & Professional Programs.
