Why Physics Science Education?
Licensure requirements are subject to change; therefore, students considering teaching in this area should be in continuous contact with the chair of this program and the school of education for a list of required courses.
It is highly recommended that physics science education majors take advantage of Saint Mary's Master of Arts in Instruction program, through which students can complete a certification program with a master’s degree in five years. Please consult with the department chair for more information.
