Kenneth Stenstrup is a tenured Assistant Professor of Theology at Saint Mary's University of Minnesota.
Dr. Stenstrup's principal teaching areas are in topics focusing on Scripture. Ken received MA degrees in study of both of the Christian Testaments before pursuing a Doctorate in Old Testament. Research and study interests focus on tracing how particular themes, topics, persons and events in Scripture have been received in various contexts through time.
Scholarly & Creative Interests
Tracing how different groups of people have understood Judaic and Christian Scriptures through time. Especially interesting is the exploration of social-scientific methods that help bridge between our contemporary world views and those views held by the ancient authors and earliest readers
