The newest residence hall on SMU’s campus, Hillside was built overlooking Gilmore Creek and the surrounding bluffs. This four-story building houses 100 sophomore though senior students, with the basement and first floors open to sophomores and the second and third floors open to sophmores through seniors. The hall’s third floor offers a substance free option. Hillside is designed in a corridor style, with spacious double rooms, each of which has a private bathroom and shower. Hillside also features four classrooms with updated technical equipment.

  • two laundry rooms with three washers and dryers (fifty cents per load); and
  • three small kitchens with stoves, ovens, microwaves and refrigerators

Layout

Rooms are approximately 15.5’ x 20’ and furnished with window blinds, fluorescent lighting and carpet. TVs (16", no remotes), refrigerators (1.7 cubic feet) and airconditioning are also included with each room.
