Blackboard gives faculty and students a secure method of sharing documents and information. No more sliding assignments under office doors during off-hours, no more lost syllabi or handouts. Faculty can post all the documents for a course in Blackboard where students can get them at any time and students can turn their assignments using the secure Blackboard Digital Dropbox.

Blackboard is also the backbone of our university portal – the single place where all documents and information from the various offices around campus can be found. With Blackboard’s automatic and self-select group memberships, students and faculty can receive information tailored to their interests and needs.

In addition, Blackboard supports the university initiative of a greener campus by reducing the amount of printing that needs to be done.
