The Hendrickson Institute for Ethical Leadership is pleased to announce its selection of Doug M. Baker, Jr., Chairman of the board and CEO of Ecolab Inc., as the 2013 Hendrickson Medal for Ethical Leadership award recipient.

Mr. Doug M. Baker, Jr., has been the Chief Executive Officer at Ecolab since July 1, 2004 and served as its President since August 2002 respectively. Previously, Mr. Baker served as the Chief Operating Officer, as well as other leadership roles. He joined Ecolab in 1989 as a Marketing Director in the Institutional Division and also as European Director of Institutional Marketing. He serves as a Member of Advisory Council of Stone Arch Capital, LLC. He is a Director of US BanCorp. and Nalco Holding Co.

For the sixth consecutive year, Ecolab Inc. has been recognized by Ethisphere Institute as one of the world’s most ethical companies. Since Doug became CEO, the company has tripled its number of employees and almost doubled its net income. Ecolab operates in over 160 countries.
