Professor Scott is an Assistant Professor, in the Business and Communication Department, specializing in financial analysis, strategy analysis, and supply chain management. Professor Scott is an elected Faculty Council Officer, recently serving as the Saint Mary's University Faculty Chair. Professor Scott has recently earned research excellence awards from the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education (AFCPE).

Outside of Saint Mary's, Professor Scott is a Quality Assurance Reviewer and a Quality Enhancement Reviewer with the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), specifically trained to appraise financial resource management, governance structures, and strategic planning (Criterion Five). Professor Scott is certified in higher education strategic planning by the Society for College and University Planners (SCUP), holds the Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) designation from the Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM), and is currently earning a PhD in Financial Planning at Kansas State University. Andrew enjoys traveling, exploring diverse cultures, and fishing.
