Position Responsibilities
The Systems Support Technician will provide computer and multimedia support to faculty, staff, and students via telephone, email, and in person.  The ideal candidate must be able to work in a team environment and be self-motivated with strong customer service skills. This is a part-time position:  Monday 5pm-8pm, Tuesday – Thursday 4pm-8pm, and Saturday 8am-12pm (19 hours / week).
Job responsibilities include:
  • Hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Computer lab management
  • Classroom orientation and technical training
  • Printer troubleshooting
  • A/V multimedia support
  • Upgrading software

Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 years of IT experience or an Associate’s degree.
Preferred qualifications:  Bachelor’s Degree in IT related field, Certifications (A+, Microsoft, etc) and Windows / Mac operating systems experience.
