Position Responsibilities

Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota is seeking an Academic Records Coordinator for our Twin Cities campus. This position provides support services to students, faculty, staff and other constituents in the areas of academic programs and degree requirements, course scheduling, enrollment, degree verification, graduation and maintenance of student academic records. This role will provide support in commencement coordination and other registrar functions. 

  • Accurately perform academic data entry and verification within the University's student information management system to include student registration, course scheduling, grading, class rosters, transcript request processing and education verifications.
  • Follow FERPA guidelines to ensure confidentiality of records. 
  • Accurately process all student changes in a timely fashion to maintain data integrity in the student academic record.
  • Monitor students' academic progress through reporting to verify the accuracy and timeliness of all academic record entries.
  • Create and participate in the implementation of process improvements to better serve students, faculty and staff.
  • Adhere to policy and procedures outlined in the catalog and student handbook.
  • Participate in commencement activities.
  • Participate in professional development.
  • Other duties or projects as needed.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience working in a registrar or student services office.
