Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota invites candidates to apply for a three-year, annually-contracted faculty position in the Psychology Department, beginning in August 2021. The standard teaching load is 22-24 credit hours per contract year and includes General Psychology and Collaborative Laboratory in Psychology as well as foundational and upper-level courses in the candidate’s area of expertise (areas of applied psychology are preferred) in the on-ground B.A. program and leadership and teaching in a new online B.S. completion program.
|Essential Skills and Abilities||
The successful candidate will have a doctorate in Psychology with a strong record of excellence in teaching on-ground and online courses, student mentorship, and scholarly work. The development of a program of scientific work in collaboration with undergraduate students is expected. Ability to engage with a collaborative community of scholars and learners in meeting the American Psychological Association outcomes for the undergraduate Psychology major is paramount.

The Psychology Department works closely with each student to develop skills to work to their utmost potential in both individual and collaborative endeavors.
