Position Responsibilities
The Associate Director for Alumni Relations will coordinate alumni association events and programs for alumni initiatives in the Twin Cities market.  This position will develop and maintain important relationships with volunteers and key stakeholders to develop and expand programming and engagement opportunities for Saint Mary’s alumni. 
  • Develop events and programming to engage both the students and alumni of the Schools of Graduate and Professional Programs.
  • Recruit and work with the 20th, 25th and 30th reunion classes that celebrate during Reunion Weekend in Winona.
  • Serve as a member of the Hendrickson Forum Planning Committee. Work with Hendrickson leadership team to help identify speaker, goals and logistics for annual event.  Coordinate logistics and marketing for the Hendrickson Forum event.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with deans, program directors and other key members of the Schools of Graduate and Professional Programs leadership team to better engage alumni and friends of the university.
  • Help manage the web content, e-marketing and events management of the development and alumni online portal.
  • Attend and assist with alumni association events as needed.
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
Bachelor degree required and 2-3 years of experience in alumni relations, event management, marketing, communications or a related field.  Experience with managing web content and social media preferred.
