Position Responsibilities
The Graduate School of Business and Technology at Saint Mary's University of Minnesota invites applications for course-contracted data analytics faculty to support our online M.S. in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics program.  The course-contracted faculty selected will teach online courses in the program. This is a term-to-term appointment with responsibility to students, course materials, and instruction.
Courses taught will use a variety of software such as Microsoft Excel, SPSS, Tableau, R Studio, Python and AWS.  Course material will include tabular and spatial data, advanced analytics and data mining techniques, including text mining, cluster analysis, forecasting, and artificial intelligence. 
Essential Skills and Abilities

It is expected that the instructor will have knowledge in mathematics, computer science, data analysis, communication, and ethics. Instructors are expected to focus on practical, hands-on, business-oriented application of course material. 

  The successful candidate must support, respect, and advance the mission of Saint Mary's University as a Lasallian Catholic institution.
Education and Experience

The instructor should have a Master’s degree or Ph.D. and work experience in a field related to data science.
