Position Responsibilities
The Graduate School of Business and Technology at Saint Mary's University of Minnesota invites applications for course-contracted cybersecurity faculty to support our M.S. in Cybersecurity program. The faculty selected will teach online courses in the program. A course-contracted faculty member is a term-to-term appointment with responsibility to students, course materials, and instruction.
 
Courses taught may include:  Foundations of Cybersecurity, Security Architecture, Network Security and Intrusion Detection, Cybersecurity Change Management, Operational Security Policy, Risk Management, Data Privacy, Leadership and Ethics, Incident Response and investigation, Cracking the Perimeter, and Security Operations and Leadership.
Essential Skills and Abilities

It is expected that the faculty member will have knowledge and work experience in network information systems and cybersecurity management methodologies, communications, and ethics. Faculty are expected to focus on practical, hands-on, business-oriented application of course material. 

  The successful candidate must support, respect, and advance the mission of Saint Mary's University as a Lasallian Catholic institution.
Education and Experience

Master’s degree or Ph.D. and work experience in a field related to computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or management. Any additional certifications would be beneficial.
