The Graduate School of Business and Technology at Saint Mary's University of Minnesota invites applications for course-contracted philanthropy and development faculty to support our M.A. in Philanthropy and Development program. The faculty selected will teach online and in-residency courses in the program. A course-contracted faculty member is a term-to-term appointment with responsibility to students, course materials, and instruction.
Courses taught may include: Ethics in Philanthropy, Fundraising Communications, and Introduction to Philanthropy.
|Essential Skills and Abilities||
It is expected that the faculty member will have extensive knowledge and work experience in philanthropy and development. Faculty are expected to focus on the practical, hands-on, application of course material.
|The successful candidate must support, respect, and advance the mission of Saint Mary's University as a Lasallian Catholic institution.|
|Education and Experience||
Master’s degree and at least 10 years of work experience in philanthropy and development. Demonstrated experience teaching content area in higher education. Experience with online education preferred.
