The Graduate School of Health and Human Services at Saint Mary's University of Minnesota invites applications for course-contracted faculty to design and teach courses in the Master’s in Public Health (MPH) program. The course-contracted faculty selected will teach evening courses on our campus in Minneapolis and/or online. This position is a term-to-term appointment with responsibility to students, course materials, and instruction.
Courses taught may include: History and philosophy of public health, biostatistics, epidemiology, environmental health, research and analysis, design and evaluation of community health programs, population health, community organizing, and health promotion.
This position will participate in the design and development of courses and course materials including teaching aids, activities and evaluation tools and have responsibility to:
|Essential Skills and Abilities||
Applicants should have demonstrable strength in one or more specialized public health areas and experience working in or undertaking scholarly collaborations, and prior teaching experience is highly desirable.
Qualification to teach graduate courses in public health is required. In addition, experience working with diverse racial and ethnic communities is preferred.

|Education and Experience||
An earned doctorate, preferred in public health, is required, as is a master’s degree in public health or equivalent from accredited program. We are seeking candidates with a minimum of three years’ experience working in the field with individuals, groups, and/or families from diverse backgrounds.
