Position Responsibilities
The Data and Assessment Analyst for the School of Education supports the teacher licensure unit in its evaluation data coordination. The teacher licensure unit spans undergraduate and graduate programs at the university. The data coordination aspect of the role will require cross-campus communication and occasional travel to the Minneapolis and Rochester campuses. This position determines the appropriate timing, methods of collecting data, and understands the tools and procedures to collect valid and reliable data.  This role provides special attention to teacher licensure requirements as determined through Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB). This includes data related to edTPA, Title II, PERCA and EPAS, Teacher Education Advisory Committee (TEAC) data, and Student Performance Assessment Committee (SPAC) reports. This individual will play a key role in supporting teacher licensure directors in collecting, analyzing and interpreting data for continuous program improvement and reporting requirements.
  • Cross-campus communication regarding data collection
  • Determine timing and methods of data collecting
  • Provide support for edTPA, Title II, PERCA, EPPAS, TEAC, and SPAC
  • Support with collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data

  • Collaborate to manage the preparation of the Common Metrics survey, including sending to targeted populations

Education and Experience
  • Minimum of a Master’s degree in an education related field
  • Experience with assessment data for continuous improvement, either in the K-12 or post-secondary setting
  • Instructional coaching or peer mentor experience preferred
