Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota invites applications for Dean of the College. The Dean of the College effectively serves as Dean of Arts and Humanities and oversees all academic matters not otherwise handled by the other three constituent schools of Saint Mary’s University. Reporting to the Provost and Dean of Faculties, this position will lead a number of key strategic initiatives and emerging priorities for the undergraduate, liberal arts college at the Winona Campus. In concert with the university’s new strategic plan and its distinctive Lasallian Catholic mission, the Dean will establish and champion an inspiring vision for the college that comprises a set of short, medium, and long-term goals designed to maintain the college’s excellence, strengthen interdisciplinary work, and secure resources for development and expansion. The Dean also serves on the University Academic Council and has responsibility for the strategic, programmatic, financial, fundraising, and management operations that support the mission of the School and its role within the university.
