Position Responsibilities
The Facility Coordinator oversees the safe and effective operation, as well as late afternoon and evening supervision of, the Saint Mary’s University Cascade Meadow facility. This position coordinates operations and provides assistance to the faculty, staff, and students of Saint Mary’s University Rochester.  The Coordinator will work part time (.50 FTE) Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
  • Ensures students, faculty, and staff can access and move about the facility in a safe and effective manner.
  • Understands schedule of classes and events, planning ahead to provide assistance as needed in special circumstances.
  • Ensures the facility receives regular cleaning, maintenance, and set ups for special events.
  • Serve as a liaison between students and the staff at the Twin Cities and Winona campuses.
  • Informs and advises prospective students of programs available.
  • Address student service items.
  • Advises Executive Director on issues related to facilities use, room occupancy, special groups, and other operational items.
  • Provide or facilitate support and technical assistance to students, faculty and staff to ensure audio/visual connections, wireless technology, and other required services are operational.
  • Participates in workshops, meetings, and special events as required.
  • Locks facility and sets alarm upon completion of classes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Excellent organization, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Self-starter, able to work independently and collaboratively with a wide range of individuals.

Education and Experience
  • A bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience supervising operations of a similar sized facility.
  • Experience in supervising an office, campus building, event center or similar facility.
